“Watching for Critical Blindspots”
It is important to be wary in regard to accepting outright, anything that is presented by experts as "The Truth".

When one accepts an expert's opinion on a subject as the absolute truth, it sets up psychological blinders in one's mind. These blinders tend to cause a "knee-jerk" reaction of acceptance, blocking any information to the contrary regarding the "truth" we may perceive.

Remaining objective in regard to the veracity of any information one may receive, requires that we maintain a degree of healthy self-doubt. This decreases the possibility of automatic acceptance of what has not been thoroughly examined independently, thus allowing us to determine for ourselves the truth of information we receive.
